Citizens Information Services (CISs) are companies that provide information, advice and advocacy to members of the public in relation to their rights and entitlements. Services are provided on a drop-in basis, via phone, letter/email, or other channels. There is a network of Citizens Information Centres and outreach locations right across Ireland. North Dublin Citizens Information Service (NDCIS) is a regional company with responsibility for service delivery in Balbriggan, Swords, Northside, Finglas, Blanchardstown, Green Street, James Joyce Street, and outreach services in Malahide and the Deaf Village Cabra. The company is governed by a voluntary board of directors.
NDCIS is seeking to recruit four individuals to join our board, which is made up of committed and experienced volunteers from across the voluntary, community and public sectors. The board plays an important role as the governing authority for the organisation. We would particularly welcome applications from individuals with experience in the following areas:
- Law
- Accountancy
- Risk Management
- Service Delivery
- Human Resources
