Citizens Information Board launches the first in a series of Insights policy reports “Home Comforts: A review of housing adaptation and energy upgrade grants”.
The Citizens Information Board is delighted to announce the release of a new social policy report “Home Comforts: A review of housing adaptation and energy upgrade grants.”
Insights policy reports draw on matters of concern, raised by members of the public when seeking assistance from CIB’s funded services. In analysing and presenting these concerns, CIB intends to make a constructive, evidence-based contribution to Government policymaking and to the provision of public services that meet people’s complex and ever-changing needs.
Insights 1, ‘Home Comforts’, presents feedback from Citizens Information Services (CIS) on access to housing adaptation grants for older people and people with disabilities, and on the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) Energy Upgrade Scheme.
